Dr. Gökhan Akçapınar is an Associate Professor at Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Education and Instructional Technology in 2014. His research interests include: educational log analysis, learning analytics, machine learning, educational dashboards, student modeling, and learner behavior analysis. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies of Kyoto University between January 2018 and September 2019. He is a member of SOLAR and APSCE.

Lecturer Alper BAYAZIT completed his undergraduate education at Hacettepe University, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies, in 2004. He received his M.Sc. degree in 2007 and his Ph.D. degree in 2013 from the same department. In 2012, he worked as a visiting researcher at the University of Groningen, Netherlands for one year. Between 2015-2019, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Yeditepe University Faculty of Education. Since 2019, he has been working as a lecturer at Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Education and Informatics. He conducted research at Massachusetts General Hospital Institute in Boston, USA with Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program in 2020. He also received another M.Sc. degree from Ankara University, Institute of Health Sciences, Medical Education Program in 2022. His research fields are learning analytics and simulations in medical education, human-computer interaction and artificial intelligence applications in education.
Dr. Hale ILGAZ is working as an instructor in the Distance Education Center at Ankara University. She has graduated from Ankara University, Computer Education and Instructional Technology Department in 2006. She has got her master's degree in Computer Education and Instructional Technology Department at Hacettepe University in 2009 and got doctoral degree in 2014 from the same department and same university. Her main research areas are distance education, e-learning, instructional design, cognitive processes in e-learning environments, cognitive psychology and human-computer interaction.

Dr. Filiz Mumcu received her bachelor's degree from Gazi University Computer Education Department and her MSc and PhD degrees from Hacettepe University Computer Education and Instructional Technology Department. Between 1998 and 2017, she worked as a technician and then as an education coordinator in the administrative units of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. She is currently working as a faculty member in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology, Faculty of Education at Manisa Celal Bayar University. Her main research interests are the integration of ICT into the learning and teaching process, teacher education for ICT integration, teacher education for interdisciplinary computer science education, and distance education.

Dr. Mehmet Kokoç is currently a researcher at the Trabzon University, Turkey. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Education and Instructional Technology from Hacettepe University. He teaches undergraduate-level instructional technology courses and graduate-level educational measurement and statistics courses. Dr. Kokoç's research interests primarily focus on open and distance learning, learning analytics, cognitive profiling, video use in e-learning and social media in education. He is also broadly interested in excessive use of digital technologies such as social media and professional development of teachers.
She received her PhD degree in Computer Education and Instructional Technologies from Hacettepe University in 2018. Also, she has been working as a researcher in the same department at Aydın Adnan Menderes University since 2013. She gives lectures in the fields of information security and ethics, graphics and animation in education, information technologies and project development. Her research interests are computer science education, computational thinking, e-learning environments, human computer interaction, social media, and various cognitive characteristics of learners on these fields.
Currently, Hacettepe Hacettepe University Distance Education Application and Research Center. Assist. She continues to work as a lecturer. Dr. Tekeli, who graduated from two undergraduate programs, completed her first undergraduate education at Hacettepe University, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies in 2014 and her second undergraduate education at Atatürk University, Department of Social Work in 2015. She completed her master's degree at Hacettepe University, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies in 2018 on the examination of digital literacy experiences in the elderly in digital storytelling workshop. She completed her PhD in 2024 at Hacettepe University, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology. In his doctoral study, he examined the effect of mental rotation and visual spatial memory on retrieval performance in different virtual reality environments. She is currently continuing her postdoctoral research. Her research interests; spatial memory, virtual reality, human-computer interaction, embodied cognition, e-learning, distance education, instructional design, learning analytics, digital story, artificial intelligence.
